Designed as a miniature book, unfolding to reveal a series of openwork rectangular gold links, spelling Souvenir, each end terminating with an engraved gold rectangular plaque, the clasp designed as a half-domed cylinder, set with a fluted cabochon emerald, within a black enamel and old mine-cut diamond floral surround, enhanced by smaller emeralds and old mine-cut diamonds.
