Munich, Bavaria, Germany After the Second World War, Karl Morgenschweis was a pastor in the Landsberg "War Criminals Prison No. 1", the prison where the convicts of the Nuremberg and Dachau trials were housed. In 1950 he was appointed clergy counselor. Morgenschweis had a questionable relationship with the prisoners, which is particularly evident in his statements made in the 1960s. Already during his activity he demanded the pardon of all perpetrators. The picture is probably from the 1950s.
