FIRST FLIGHT OF PAKISTANI AIRLINE REACHES KARACHI AFTER TERRORIST ATTACK ON U.S, 2001-09-17 (photo)

Relatives receive their family members, who reached Karachi September 17, 2001 on the first flight of Pakistan International Airlines from New York since the U.S. terror attacks last week. The U.S had closed down all its airports for commercial operations after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pantagon. The Pakistani carrier had resumed its cross-Atlantic operations last weekend.
