US MARINES HUDDLE IN PRAYER ABOARD THE USS KEARSARGE BEFORE LEAVING TO LAND IN GREECE...

A group of United States Marines huddle with their arms around each other early June 10 as they say a prayer before leaving the USS Kearsarge and proceeding to land on a Greek beach as part of the International Peacekeeping Force bound for Kosovo. The Marines are onboard a LCAC, or Landing Craft Air Cushion in the hold of the US Navy ship USS Kearsarge and are part of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, or MEU, comprised of 2,200 Marines, their equipment and weapons. The men later landed on the beach of Lithohoro, Greece where they will proceed to Macedonia and later into Kodsovo. JWH/FMS
