Oberstdorf, Bavaria, Germany On 19.9.1959 the experienced balloonist Alfred Eckert started a flight with his hot air balloon "Augusta 7" from the Nebelhorn. The picture shows the preparations for the launch. The balloon rises slowly and the sandbags must be filled and fastened so that the hot air balloon won't take off yet.
