Alberto PIRELLI (28 April 1882 - 19 October 1971), company manager and Italian entrepreneur. With his brother Piero he continued the activities of his father Giovanni Battista for the development of the Pirelli Company, of which he was President. In addition to taking part in the administration of important industrial and financial companies, he carried out a considerable activity based on general interests both in Italy and in representation of Italy abroad. Member of the Economic High Council during the peace negotiation in 1919, he was a negotiator for Italy, from 1923 to 1930, for all negotiations concerning the settlement of debts and war reparations. Member of the first council of the International Labor Office and Economic Committee of the League of Nations; President of the International Chamber of Commerce; Minister of State since 1938; founder and President of ISPI Institute for International Policy Studies.
