Golden Miller, W Stott up. The Golden Miller, but to all "The Miller," is one of the most celebrated jumpers of the century. Owned by Hon Dorothy Paget he won the Grand National in 1934, when ridden by G Wilson. In 1935 and 1936 he started a great favourite, but created a sensation on both occasions by failing to finish in the first three. He has won the Cheltenham Gold Cup for several years. The Golden Miller is by Goldcourt out of Miller's Pride and is trained by O Anthony. Our picture shows W Stott riding the famous jumper. Illustration for Photocard issued by Ardath Tobacco in c.1936.
