Ball held at the Academy of Music, Tuesday Evening, March 4, 1862. Advertisement containing a gothic-style ornamental border surrounding text providing the date of the ball, names of sponsors, ticket information, and entertainment details. Sponsors include Alexander Henry, Commodore C.J. Pendegrast, and Capt. W.S. Ogden. Master of Ceremonies was M[iecislaw] Hlasko (a dancing and gymnastics teacher who offered drill classes at his physical institute) and music was under the direction of the Hassler Brothers. Print made by L. Weeber.
