23-June 2010. Choir sings behind Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout who with Mrs Leah Tutu attended a ceremony to bless Darling's swimming pool and community Health, Sport and Education centre. The centre hosts an Early Childhood Development Centre, Art and music classes for children and literacy programmes. Archbishop Tutu is the Patron of the Darling Pool Project and the Darling Trust that was established in August 2003 by Evita Bezuidenhout's alter ego, the actor, satirist Pieter-Dirk Uys. ( Pieter Dirk-uys is the founding member, former trustee and present patron) . The swimming pool and centre were opened in 16 December 2009, Reconciliation Day.
