Two Madonna studies, one of which is left can be considered as a draft for Colonna Madonna with the book. The second study right with John the Baptist, holding a bird, recalls first as a first thought for Madonna of the Goldfinch (Uffizi, Florence). The again sketched Johannes boy in full-length, who with the John in the designated image nearly coincides in posture and movement seems to confirm this. Bister drawing.

Zwei Madonnenstudien
Bisterzeichnung.
