A'Zone Corp marketing manager Bernie Lee displays what his company says is the world's smallest desktop computer during its launch at an information technology and computer show in Singapore April 11, 2001. Dubbed the Cappuccino G1, the portable computer weighs 1.9 pounds, is about 6 inches square and 1.8 inches thick, and includes features typically found in larger desktops, including an Intel Pentium III 1GHz processor, a 20 GB hard disk, 256Mb of random access memory, an infrared port, a 56K modem, a network port, a small speaker, a CD or DVD drive, and ports for a keyboard, mouse, printer, monitor, television and other peripherals. Manufactured by Taiwan's Saintsong Corp, Singapore's A'Zone distributes and markets the computer in the Asia Pacific region, selling the top range model for about S$2400 ($1330), and aiming to market it for everyone from executives to exhibitors and students.
