Sonntagsjager. Das edle Weidwerk wurde im Laufe des 19 Jahrh oft von Unberufenen als Sonntagsvergnugen betrieben. Der eitle Spiessburger wollte mit Jagderfolgen am Stammtisch prahlen. So entstand die Witzblattfigur des Sonntagsjagers mit seinem Jagerlatein. Ein Gluck, dass manches flinke Wild diesen Schutzen entging! Heute ist gottlob wieder das Wild und nicht der Jager die Hauptsache. Translation: Sunday Hunter.
