Pastimes of Our King. His Majesty is seen here at Wimbledon competing in the All-England lawn tennis championships in the year he entered the men's doubles event with Wing Commander Sir Louis Greig as partner. Playing before a critical Wimbledon gallery held no terrors for His Majesty, whose splendid left-handed service gave the pair on the other side of the court much cause for anxiety. In the end, however, the ex-champions, to whom they were opposed, came through triumphant. The King and Wing Commander Sir Louis Greig as partners have won the RAF doubles championship.
