Great Britain's 1936 Wightman Cup Team are shown going on to the courts for practice at Wimbledon. Miss Dearman and Miss Lyle suffered their first defeat as a doubles pair during the match. Great Britain won the singles 3 to 2, Miss Round beating both Miss H Jacobs and Mrs Fabyan, while Miss Stammers beat Miss Jacobs.
