Nickwalli, 12, an Afghan boy seriously wounded after he touched an unexploded bomblet of a U.S. cluster bomb dropped from a plane during air strikes, lies on his bed in a hospital in Kabul November 22, 2001. Afghanistan is already one of the world's most heavily mined countries, littered with ordnance made by Russians, Iranians, Italians and Pakistanis.
