Tue. 16, 1954 - To-day there was a sensation in Munich: two legionaries with khaki-uniforms, white hats and red shoulder-pieces were distributing pamphlets to passes-by in one of he main-streets. The police was called because people didn't like this frank way of making propaganda for the Foreign Legion of France in the capital of Bavaria. But very soon, the angry people came t know that this propaganda the two soldiers were making was only for the film” Foreign Legionaries”. but in spite of this, one of the legionaries was a” real” one because Herbert Schellenberg shown on our picture, has been serving in the Foreign Legion for five years and some days ago he had been released. “I shall inform everybody about the Foreign Legion” he said. In spite of all the promises originally made by the English he hadn't got any job after having been released. On the contrary, they had intended to retain him and tried to let him enlist for another five years in the French Foreign Legion
