May 05, 1953 - A Medallion For Former Secretary-General Trygve Lie: Former Secretary-General Trygve Lie sailed for Norway yesterday aboard the liner Oslofjord. Before his departure, Mr. Lie was presented the liner Oslofjord. Before his departure, Mr. Lie was presented with this gold medallion depicting the Headquarters of the United Nations. The presentation was made on behalf of the Department of Public Information of the U.N. by Mr. Benjamin Cohen, Assistant Secretary-General in charge of the Department. At the center is a photograph of the plaque on the box in which the medallion was enclosed.
