Whole artwork view. Blue headline over the project by Tadao Ando for the Jun building in the man made Port Island of Kobe (Japan); the pastel drawing coloured with crayons depicts the large multi-purpose hall, whose right wall is completely made of glass while the ceiling is supported by thick pillars covered with riveted metal plates; on the right, two levels of balconies run longitudinally along the room, fixed to the columns; on the upper part is a pencil detail of the joints and the hinges between the metallic elements and reinforced concrete. on the blue background of a 1986 Coloured project by Riken Yamamoto & Field Shop for a Gazebo (residential unit called Zakkyo Biru in Japanese) in Yokohama; the main elevation front view, here reproduced in its four storey, shows a metal beams structure ( Coloured in yellow, red, light blue and gray) on the upper floors, and a reinforced concrete plynth at the base.
