WW II - Women in the Defense Industry 1944

German women and foreign men assemble various small arms in an arms factory in December 1944, place unknown. The employment of women as workers in all sectors ensured, as is pictured here in the arms industry, adequate supply at the front. The Nazi Propaganda! on the back of the picture is dated 11 December 1944: "Rapid-fire weapons in precision work. In German arms factories, thousands of machine guns, rapid-fire and automatic rifles, and pistols are assembled daily and immediately sent out to the troups at the front. Our picture shows: German women and foreign workers assemble the precision parts of rapid-fire arms at a hall of a German arms factory. "
