Moderate ethnic Albanian leader Ibrahim Rugova speaks to reporters in Pristina March 31. Rugova had earlier been reported missing in what NATO called a Serbian spree of murder and expulsions of Kosovo Albanians since air strikes began on March 24. Two other prominent Kosovo Albanians, Rugova associate Fehmi Agani and newspaper editor Baton Haxhiu, earlier said by NATO to have been executed by Serbs, are also alive but not necessarily safe, U.S. and ethnic Albanian sources disclosed.
