Cover of Casabella, N. 489, March 1983, 20th Century, graphic, 31 x 28 cm
Whole artwork view. Blue headline over a project in isometric view for the new Ministry of Economic and Finances in Paris; the design, produced by the architects associates of the studio A. U. A. (Atelier d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme) with Emilio Dubart-Harosteguy, represents an aerial sight of the big building of a Parisian district, outlined in blue and highlighted in grey, except for the only segment occupied of the new building, which is outlined in red and, in the background, white; the main body of the building is characterized by two interior yards in the rear zone, lower than the façade; this one hosts five large glazed apertures and two squared, arch-shaped lateral annexes which overstep the street; the right span, on the higher edge of the picture, links the Ministry to a second structural body with a curved façade, overlooking a small square.
