Oslo 1986: The 1986 wage settlement ends in lockout. Largest labor conflict in Norway since 1931. Employer organizations require moderation at this year's wage settlement. LO requires increased purchasing power and equal working hours of 37.5 t. The conflicts in the working life are aiming. On April 3, the Employer Association requires a break in mediation in five settlement and notifies exclusion of over 100,000 LO organized. A few days later, oil production stops in the North Sea because the food service is stopped by strikes. On April 7, there will be a break in the mediation between the Mechanical Workshop's National Association and Iron and Metal, and the largest lockout in Norway since 1931 with the exclusion of 102,000 organized in five LO associations will be implemented from April 8.
