George II cabinet in Chinese Chippendale style, 18th century, with display of porcelain in Hallway of Getty mansion with reverse-painted mirrors above. Ann & Gordon Getty lived in a 1913 mansion in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights. Mrs. Getty was a brilliant interior designer and together the Gettys filled their home with layers of fine art, European and Asian antiques, and decorative arts. Their collection sold at Christie’s New York in October 2022 achieved over $150 million with all proceeds benefiting cultural charities.
