HMS ‘Mohawk’, 1914. Lantern slide, World War One, War at Sea (1914-1918), 1914. HMS ‘Mohawk was a torpedo boat destroyer launched in 1907. In 1914 she was attached to the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla. Part of the Dover Patrol, she was damaged after hitting a German mine in June 1915. After undergoing repairs she took part in the Battle of Dover Strait (26-27 October 1916). From a box of 44 lantern slides, 1915-1918.
