Description
They Made Headlines: Death at the Derby. In 1913, militant Suffragette Miss Emily Wilding Davison, planned to make headlines by flinging herself in front of the King's horse on Derby Day. The stunt ended in tragedy. Original artwork from Look and Learn no. 127 (20 June 1964).
