Label on mount reads: "South-east corner of the Old City of Jerusalem seen from the Mount of Olives. Compare this with the Plate of Cross-Sections which shows how the wall are buried up to half their original height. The fountain of the wall at this S.E. corner is 80ft underground. It was discovered by Sir Charles Warren. The Dome of the Rock appears above the wall";
