Machinist Mate 2nd Class Robert Rodriguez of Amarillo,Texas (R), aboard the research vessel Kellie Chouest, pilots the Scorpio Unmanned Work Vehicle as it searches the ocean floor February 3 just prior to the recovery of the flight data recorder from Alaska Airlines Flight 261. Machinist Mate 2nd Class Robert Duncan of Torrance, California (L), is the co-pilot and is responsible Scorpio's mechanical arms.
