Photo of a class with its schoolchildren in 1962 (nursery school La Prade, Carcassonne, Aude 11). At the beginning of the 1960s, if the stove is still at the bottom of the classroom, protected by a grid, it is fuel oil instead of wood or coal. On the new individual desks, with a metal tubular structure, the inkcrib has disappeared. It is written in a ballpoint pen: the Bic Point. The rooms are lit by large windows and the walls are decorated with cheerful patterns. But the schoolchildren are still frogged, impressed by the photographer.
