Najmun has been ill for last five years and was diagnosed with TB in November 2000. After few months of medication, she felt better and discontinued her treatment. Seriously ill, she came to the tuberculosis hospital and got admitted on June 21, 2005. Dhaka, Bangladesh. August 08, 2005. Bangladesh ranks fifth among the worlds 22 highest burden TB countries. Every year around 300,000 new TB cases are filed and almost 70, 0000 die of it. Reportedly, 54 per cent of them do not get any treatment at all. (photo)
