The building was designed by Grieg's cousin, the architect Schak Bull. The name comes from trold meaning troll and haug from the Old Norse word haugr meaning hill or knoll. Norways most celebrated composer, 15 June 1843 4 September 1907. Showing stained glass window, 1906, into winter garden, at rear.
