To tame a small fire in the home of a millionaire lady, the widow of a musician, the Prague firemen had to force the door because the landlady didn't want to let them in. A singular spectacle appeared to them, heaps of furniture, empty bottles and household goods of all kinds cluttered the rooms; the bed was placed on top of a pile of paintings and old furniture, almost near the ceiling.
