Outside view of Indaver incinerator in Antwerp June 4. This incinerator is expected to be use to burn the carcasses of the animals suspected to have been contaminated by cancer-causing dioxin. Late on Thursday Health MInister Luc Van den Bossche set a three-day slaughter ban for chickens, pigs and cattle to give the authorities more time to determine which farms had received feed with dioxin. The carcinogen has so far only been found in chicken and eggs, but the authorities fear the feed might also have been given to cattle and pigs. The discovery has set off Europe's worst food crisis since the mad cow disease alert. HRM/
