Export of locomotives in the 1920s. The swedish company Nydqvist & Holm was the largest manufacturer of locomotives in Sweden and made it's 1000 locomotive 1912. 1920 they recieved an order from Russia of 1000 locomotives at a value of 230 million swedish crowns, the largest order until then. The payment was made in gold bars at a weight of 56 ton. Picture shows one of the locomotives being loaded onto the british ship Neebing at Trollhättan as one of the first 10 locomotives being delivered in July 1922.
