Vicki Hansen has owned a home in Summerhaven, on Mt. Lemmon near Tucson, Arizona, for 12 years. She was attending a public meeting at Sabino High School, June 20, 2003 where U.S. Forest Service officials gave residents of the mountain community an update on the Aspen Fire. The fire, which is still out of control, has destroyed more than 4,000 acres and 250 homes. Hansen is not sure if her home has been destroyed.
