The son of ousted Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic was charged on Thursday with threatening to hack up a resistance activist with a power saw and throw the parts into a river. Once described by the United States as one of the richest and most violent members of the Serbian mafia, Marko Milosevic fled the country on a false passport after a mass uprising ousted his father last year. Criminal charges have been filed against Marko Milosevic before over separate incidents, but this was the first official indictment.
