J Sirett. J Sirett, who rides at 7 st 4 lb, is one of the most successful jockeys at this weight and is riding more races every year. One of the strongest "finishers" riding, J Sirett is always in demand by trainers, but has, however, yet to win a classic race. He is attached to P Lowe's stables at East Ilsley, Berks, and G Laing Ward's at Kingsworthy, Herts. He rode 33 winners in 1933, 51 in 1934 and 76 in 1935, when he was 6th in the list of winning jockeys. Illustration for Photocard issued by Ardath Tobacco in c.1936.
