Surprises in the desert. The British, fleeing from a position beaten by our artillery at El Mechili, dragged along a company of wandering artists sent by the command to tone the troops. Alone, between the sand and the remains of the battle, there was a piano left. An Axis soldier remembers being a pianist and improvises an outdoor concert, all for himself.
