Somali Prime Minister Hassan Abshir Farah addresses a delegation of Somalis at a news conference in Kenya's capital Nairobi, August 12, 2003. Farah said on Tuesday he expected leaders to form a new govenment uniting Somali's many factions within two weeks, despite oppostion from the country's president. The peace talks, which began in October, aim to forge a new govenment to do a better job of reuniting Somalia than an existing Transitional National Govenment (TNG), which was esrablished on August 13, 2000 after a conference in Djibouti.
