At the press conference at the Therasse of the KKL on Friday, August 10, 2001, eight museum directors and the city president of Lucerne, Urs W. Studer, Mitte, gathered. The museum directors from left to right, Christof Wicki, Rosengarten Foundation, Heidi Rothen, Picasso Collection, Mario Luetolf, Head of Tourism Lucerne, Peter Herger, Lucerne Nature Museum, Bernadette Burger, President of the Lucerne Museums Association, Ursula Perret, Richart Wagner Museum, Fredy Rey Museum of Transport, Peter Wick, Glacier Garden, and City President Urs W. Studer, front centre. Twelve museums in Lucerne are joining forces for a night of museums in the city of Lucerne on the night of 31 August to 1 September 2001. From 20.00 - 02.00 clock the 12 museums offer a rich special program in most different atmospheres.
