Switzerland Duebendorf Prince Leopold Fly Ruhr (b/w photo)

Prince Leopold of Bavaria (m), framed by photographer Sacha Abt (l) and Urs Frischknecht of the Paracenter Locarno, on Monday, April 6, 1998, at the airport Duebendorf ZH. Prince Leopold took part in an event organised by the IWC International Watch Company from Schaffhausen, where he made his first parachute jump in 30 years. The reason for this is the launch of the UTC pilot watch (shown on the right on the picture) by IWC. As IWC President of the Management Board and Chairman of the Management Board, Michael P. Sarp, explained on the premises of the Fliegermuseum Duebendorf, the special feature of the watch is that the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) or also the home time can be set on a segment section of the dial.
