Sørlandet, summer 1962. When the elephants came to Evje: Four days' struggles for eight minutes of performance. Circus Arnardo is on tour in Southern Norway with five two-ton elephants. It presents problems. They stood in rail cars for one day at Marnardal station because there were no cars that could take them further. The next day they traveled to Grovane station where they were to be charged to the narrow -tracked Setesdalsbanen to Evje.
