The documentary - made immediately after the massacre that took place in Piazza della Loggia on the morning of May 28, 1974 - is first and foremost a reconstruction of the episodes preceding the attack. Then the film becomes news, through photographic materials and shots on the places; the unitary trade union rally, the explosion of the bomb, the dead and the wounded, mourning and anger. So, the popular reaction and the anti-fascist mobilization in Brescia for the funeral, with the presence of all citizens, delegations coming from all over Italy, trade union and political leaders: the President of the Republic, Giovanni Leone, Enrico Berlinguer, Luigi Longo, Luciano Lama, Bruno Trentin, Luigi Macario, Mariano Rumor, Nilde Iotti.
