Nick Compton is a self taught, South African born photographer who lives and works in London. Best known as a professional cricketer, Compton travelled extensively throughout his 20 year career. Nick Compton is a self taught, South African born photographer who lives and works in London. Best known as a professional cricketer, Compton travelled extensively throughout his 20 year career. In this time he turned to photography as a means to release some of the pressures inherent in playing sport at such a high level.

Through his lens, Compton captures culture and people with an almost seductive abandon.
