The British Sporting Art Trust is a charity for the formation and display of a representative collection of British sporting art at the Vestey Gallery in Newmarket. It is also closely linked with several other galleries and houses open to the public and occasionally the Trust loans works of art to outside exhibitions. Through the Trust over 50 sporting works of art have been acquired for the Tate Gallery and donations have been made to the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, the Grosvenor Museum, Chester, and others in order for them to buy sporting works of art.
