Image description

Vietnamese General Van Tien Dung, 83, with his wife behind him, visits an exhibition of photographs in Hanoi on March 10 that were taken from the award-winning book "Requiem". The book contains a series of images taken by 135 photographers who were killed during war in Indochina from the 1950s to 1975. Dung led the communist forces that made the final push to capture Saigon in early 1975, a feat they achieved on April 30, 1975. Saigon, now called Ho Chi Minh City, was capital of the U.S.-backed South Vietnam.    DY/CC
