Oslo 19530314. The Emameter at Hasle was the first Norwegian factory after the war to start making the small washing machine "Evalet" that came on the market in 1951. The first time it was not possible to meet the great demand from all sides of the country. The company has 200 employees and produces bathtubs, enameled wash basins, stainless steel sinks and approx. 40,000 washing machines a year. Here the mounting work is almost done. Here in the picture is Reidar Thorsen with the semi-automatic Charge fork that provides the transport of the bathtubs to and from the enamel sprayer, drying room, burning oven and cold room.
