Gelehrtenstube. Da der gelehrte Humanist meist dem geistlichen Stande entstammte, sieht sein Studierzimmer der Klosterzelle recht ahnlich. Einen Schreibtisch in der heutigen Form gab es damals nicht. Die Zeit las der Gelehrte an der Sanduhr ab; eine besondere Bequemlichkeit war schon das in die Wand eingelassene Waschbecken nebst Kugelgefass, primitiver Vorlaufer der Wasserleitung.
