May 05, 1953 - Coronation Commentators gather from all over the world: Covering the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in the British Broadcasting Corporation broadcasts will be commentators from many parts of the British Commonwealth. These five will represent Canada, Australia and the West Indies. Mr. Arthur prepared the English language coverage for the Canadian visit of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. Top right: Mr. rene Levesque, 30 year old member of the French Language Section of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's International Service. Mr. Levesque has recently returned from a spell as war correspondent in Korea. (bottom left) Mr. W.A. Richardson, from Trinidad. Mr. Richardson is a producer in the BBC's Colonial Service. (bottom right) Mr. talbot Duckmanton, Assistant Manager of the Australian Broadcasting Commission's stations in Queensland. Still in his early thirties, Mr. Duckmanton is the Commission's youngest executive.
