A board game based on the geography of France. There are eighty-six lithographed maps, engraved by Massuet with the lettering by L. Aubert pere, each on a card measuring 135 x 82 mm and divided into five suits. There is a spindle with a wooden base and an elaborate metal pointer which rotats on a spindle; Three smaller baskets and a longer rectangular basket hold three diffrent sizes of ivory counter: circular, short rectangular and long retangular, each in four colours: red, green,purple and yellow. They are evidently tokens or counters of some form.
