Antwerp ? before 1600 - 1661), after Jan Brueghel the elder (Brussels 1568 – Antwerp 1625), or by Frederik Bouttats the Younger ([?] - Antwerp 1676). The scene shows a wooded landscape with birds and animals and a valley beyond on the left. Ducks swim on a pond in the left foreground and beside it a tree, whose trunk leans towards the left, occupies the centre foreground. Its branches are filled with a variety of birds, large and small. A stag with antlers, seen from behind, stands in front of the tree. A pair of cheetah are fighting on the right and behind them stands a white horse with a long mane with another brown horse, partly seen, behind it. To their left is a deer, a boar and two parrots sitting in a tree on the far right. In the central distance are the figures of Adam and Eve shown at the moment of the Tempatation.
